It needs proper coaching. As it turns out, this was fascinating in its own right. Absolutely fascinating book for whoever want to step inside mentalism world. An balance book to read an to keep! If you aspire to perform this type of magic, this is essential reading. This is my go to book when I am stuck. The book has grown over the years into one of the most famous books about ateps. While it did touch on corind topics of that nature, it primarily covered slight of hand tricks for performances.

Hard read, but very worth the effort. After two years the series was published step by step. This is a must read! If you are interested in mentalism then get this awesome book!

The positive is that left more room for more material! The book describes various techniques used by mentalists to achieve what appear to be psychic phenomena such as telepathyprecognitionextra-sensory perceptiontelekinesis and the ability to communicate with the dead as a medium.
It is not a sit down and read for the afternoon book. It has been reprinted number of times so the mental effects and the psychology behind them are still relevant today. Corinda makes lots of references to performing in drawing rooms and using visitor cards for effects and things of that nature which are now obsolete.
